This à la carte cleaning option focuses on the areas that need attention most: bathrooms, kitchen, and floors. You decide exactly what you want cleaned — whether it’s:
Just the bathroom(s) (even selected ones only)
Only the kitchen
Only the floors
Or any combination of these
You have full control over what’s included in each visit — as long as your selections meet our minimum visit charge of just $99.00.
It’s available on a weekly, every two weeks, or every four weeks schedule, and it can also be alternated with your full recurring maintenance cleaning for even more flexibility.
Essentially, if the area isn’t the kitchen or bathroom(s), we only do floors there — nothing else.

Kitchen Cleaning – What We Clean (If Included in Your Service)
At Erika’s House Cleaning, we believe that a clean kitchen is at the heart of every happy home. Our maintenance recurring cleaning routine for the kitchen aims to cover all key areas, ensuring your kitchen remains clean and welcoming.
- Cabinets: We spot-clean cabinets and drawer fronts.
- Backsplash: We spot-clean the backsplash.
- Countertops: We clean all kitchen countertops. Items that can be safely and efficiently moved will be shifted so we can wipe down the entire surface before replacing them.
- Countertop Items: We dust small countertop items with a duster if possible and wipe off the tops of larger items such as the toaster, toaster oven, and mixer.
- Appliances: The face of all built-in kitchen appliances, including the hood, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, and microwave, will be cleaned and polished (in the case of stainless steel appliances) Additionally, we clean the inside of the microwave.
- Stove: We scrub and clean the stovetop.
- Sink and Faucet: We scrub and clean kitchen sinks and faucets.
- Floors: We vacuum all carpets and rugs, and vacuum and mop all bare floors.
- Additional Features: We wipe the tops of bar stools or kitchen island chairs and dust the sides and feet of the stools. We dust kitchen decorations, the top of the refrigerator (if reachable), and kitchen hanging lights with a duster. We empty the trash cans, replace trash bags, and wipe down the outside of the trash cans. We fold the kitchen towels.
Note: Cleaning the inside of appliances such as ovens, refrigerators, or freezers can be requested as an add-on; these services are charged separately.
Bathroom Cleaning – What We Clean (If Included in Your Service)
At Erika’s House Cleaning, we recognize that a well-cleaned bathroom contributes significantly to the comfort and hygiene of your home. Our maintenance recurring cleaning for bathrooms is tailored to cover all the essentials in your bathroom space.
- Cabinets: We spot-clean cabinets and drawer fronts.
- Mirrors: We clean and buff the mirrors.
- Countertops: We clean all bathroom countertops. Items that can be safely and efficiently moved will be shifted so we can wipe down the entire surface before replacing them. We do not move clutter or large amounts of countertop items.
- Countertop Items: We dust countertop items with a duster if possible.
- Sink and Faucet: We scrub, clean, and sanitize the sink and faucets.
- Bathtub/Shower: We scrub, clean, and sanitize the shower and bathtub area to remove any soap scum.
- Toilet: We clean and sanitize the toilet both inside and outside.
- Floors: We vacuum all carpets and rugs, and vacuum and mop all bare floors.
- Additional Features: We dust bathroom lights, toilet paper holders, towel racks, shelves, and decorations with a duster. We empty the trash cans, replace trash bags, and wipe down the outside of the trash cans. We fold bathroom towels.
Living Areas - What We Clean (If Included in Your Service)
- Floors & Stairs: We vacuum all carpets and rugs, and vacuum and mop all bare floors.
Essentially, if the area isn’t the kitchen or bathroom(s) you’ve chosen for us to clean, we only do floors there — nothing else.
The pricing for this service is based on the square footage of the areas included and the type of flooring — such as carpet, bare floors, or high-maintenance surfaces like marble.

Our commitment to safety and respect for your personal space shapes our service approach. Here are a few important aspects for your understanding:
Safe Cleaning Practices: Safe Reach & Extended Dusting: When performing Deep Cleaning or Move In or Move Out cleaning we do not climb higher than a 3-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with/a 6ft extension duster. We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.
House Contents: Our focus remains on the house surfaces for Move-In and Move-Out Cleaning Services. We expect the house will be empty without furniture, decorations, pictures, or other personal items. We also kindly ask our clients to remove any extended trash, all personal items, food, and all other items from the inside of kitchens and bathroom cabinets. Empty the Fridge and Freezer if cleaning of the inside of these spaces will be included.
Do not schedule other inside-of-house services like Carpet Cleaning, Painters, Plumbers, Photography, etc for the same day as our service! When scheduling a Deep Cleaning, One-Time Service, or Move-In/Move-Out Service, please be aware that for most jobs, we may need to be at the property for the entire day. In some cases, for very large jobs, it may take multiple days to complete. If multiple days are needed, we will notify the client as soon as possible.
Appliances and Specific Features: Some areas require specific care and handling that go beyond the scope of our cleaning. These include cleaning hood air filters and moving large kitchen appliances such as refrigerators or stoves. Our aim is to provide comprehensive cleaning without risking damage to these sensitive and often high-value items. We cannot move furniture, but we will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.
Respecting Personal Items: Your home is your personal space filled with personal belongings. As such, we do not clean or organize specific personal items including dishes, food, groceries, laundry, craft sets, makeup sets and other cosmetics, jewelry, wallets, purses, paperwork, and other documents. Our focus remains on the surfaces and common areas around these items. All surfaces that need to be addressed should be accessible and reachable without these items.
Trash Management: As part of our cleaning service, we manage regular waste disposal. However, we request that all personal hygiene products and any other sensitive trash items are appropriately disposed of in trash bins by the client beforehand. This is to maintain hygiene standards and respect personal boundaries. We do not handle any extended amount of trash that is not properly disposed of in the trash cans.
Our intention is to offer a service that strikes a balance between thorough cleaning and respect for your personal space and belongings. Your understanding and cooperation with these guidelines enable us to provide a high-quality cleaning service focused on enhancing the comfort and cleanliness of your home.
